eDermaStamp by Dermaroller

The eDermaStamp® by Dermaroller® causes minimally invasive precision micro-injuries of the epidermis and dermis, without causing open wounds or ablative damage. The puncturing channels close after a short time and these micro-injuries trigger the body’s wound healing cascade, which induces an increased collagen production in the treated skin. The eDermaStamp® by Dermaroller® triggers the construction of new tissue by stimulating healthy cell regeneration in precision-targeted areas that show the signs of aging. It effectively reduces wrinkles, tightens and thickens the skin, helps remove hyper pigmentation and sun spots, hair loss rejuvenation as well as – perhaps most impressively – fills and smooths scars.

Microneedling Q & A

What are the benefits?
Micro-needling can significantly reduce and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, acne scars, traumatic scars, stretch marks and hair loss.

What areas can be treated?
The eDermaStamp can be used on all parts of the body, including the: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back. The only areas that can not be treated are the mucous membranes and the eyes. Around the eyes can be done as well.

How is the procedure done?
Initially, your skin care professional will apply topical lidocaine to numb the skin and ensure a comfortable and pain-free treatment. Then, the eDermaStamp is gently pressed against the skin from side to side, up to down and diagonally to ensure every part of the skin is treated.

When will I see results?

The Dermaroller® provides visible results after a single treatment and results improve with subsequent treatments (3-6 treatment sessions are typically recommended; 6-8 treatments for scaring)

Who can get microneedling?

The eDermaStamp is safe for all skin types and all scar depths.

What are contraindications for Microneedling?

Clients who have active herpes labialis or other localized infection in the treatment area, including warts, moderate-to-severe chronic skin diseases such as eczema or psoriasis and patients with extreme keloidal tendencies should not get microneedling. Diabetes can be a contraindication for microneedling, always ask your doctor.  If you are unsure, please confirm with your doctor first.

Will it cause any damage to my skin?

The eDermaStamp does not damage tissue; it’s designed to trigger cell proliferation in a minimally invasive manner.
